Members of our local Slimming World groups are going wild for the latest recipe book to be launched. It is the “Take 5” book where you just need 5 ingredients to make all of the recipes. It has lots of really tasty meals such as mushroom and asparagus tagliatelle, Shanghai chicken, pork and apple burgers, and beef and aubergine bake.
Angela, who runs a group in Weybridge, said: “A lot of the time, slimmers worry they’ll have to miss out on enjoying their favourite meals. The good news is though that with only 5 ingredients, it’s easy to stay on track while still eating delicious food. Making simple swaps and opting for lean cuts of meat, such as steak and chicken with the skin removed, with salad or vegetables to help keep your weight-loss journey on track. This book has proved to be very popular with the members in my group and they love using the recipes each week for meals for their families.”
